Catholic Social Teaching

Catholic Social Teaching (CST) is at the heart of a Catholic primary school, guiding pupils to live out their faith through love, justice, and service to others. Rooted in Gospel values, CST teaches children the importance of dignity, solidarity, and caring for the most vulnerable in society. Through lessons, prayer, and practical actions, pupils learn about key principles such as the dignity of the human person, the call to family and community, stewardship of God’s creation, and the option for the poor. These teachings are woven into daily school life, encouraging pupils to develop compassion, make ethical choices, and become responsible global citizens who contribute positively to their communities.
