'Spreading our faith with God by our side'
The Spiritual Council at St Mary's plays a vital role in nurturing the faith life of the school community. They lead prayer services, helping to create a calm and reflective atmosphere for collective worship. The council also monitors the school's prayer life and ensures that prayer areas around the school are welcoming, respectful, and inspiring spaces for quiet reflection. They thoughtfully organise prayer bags to be sent home, encouraging families to share special moments of prayer and reflection together. In addition, the council leads lunchtime faith-based activities, such as colouring and crafts inspired by the week’s Gospel, giving pupils a fun and creative way to engage more deeply with their faith.
